– Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr / Scholz & Friends / 2023
Anytime, anywhere – the pressure to be constantly available at work and in our private lives has radically intensified in recent years. This behavior is also evident on the road: The number of motorists who text or read messages while driving increased by almost 70 % between 2016 and 2022. The fatal consequence: People who text while driving are more than 50 % more likely to have an accident.
The film aims to disrupt this trend by making clear: “It’s okay to be unreachable. Especially while driving.”
The campaign was produced on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) and the German Road Safety Council (DVR).
Personal note – As one of the Art Directors on this project, I really enjoyed working with François Rousselet – a director whose portfolio includes brands like Apple and Hermès. His level of experience helped make the film feel both cinematic and bold. It’s not every day you get to combine traffic safety messaging with such a high-end production, which made this a really rewarding experience for me.
